Early Intervention Service

At our Early Intervention Service, we specialize in providing individualised and child-centred therapy for children aged 2-7 with developmental delays. Our dedicated team of professionals uses evidence-based strategies based on the science of behaviour analysis to foster growth, enhance communication skills, and promote independence. We tailor our programs to meet the unique needs of each child, ensuring they receive the best possible support on their developmental journey. We operate as a day-care nursery meaning that children can stay with us for either half-day or full-day sessions.

What makes us different?

  • Clinical expertise

At our early intervention nursery, children benefit from the clinical expertise of a dedicated team of doctoral-level behaviour analysts who provide personalized input and on-site supervision. Our team has extensive experience in helping children develop communication, play, and pre-academic skills via evidence-based teaching strategies.

  • Nursery provision

As a Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) registered nursery, we combine high quality day care with our therapeutic service for children aged 2-7. Experienced nursery staff are skilled in creating a nurturing and engaging setting and setting up natural environment teaching opportunities.

  • Child-Centred Provision

Children are at the centre of everything we do at our nursery. We provide comprehensive assessment to identify goals and curricula that are meaningful and individualised to each child. By collecting objective data daily, we ensure that children are not only learning and progressing but also enjoying their time with us. This allows us to tailor teaching strategies to the unique needs and interests of every child.

  • 1:1 and group-based therapy

We utilise evidence-based teaching strategies based on the science of behaviour analysis to help children learn skills. Skills are taught through play by capitalising on each child’s unique interests to teach skills. Teaching takes place in 1:1 and small group settings (3:1 ratios) affording the opportunity to work on a range of developmentally important skills.
